Welcome to another edition of Photographer’s Favorites featuring the wonderful dogs of the Chester County SPCA!

Beavis is a big, loveable goof who is handsome and dog-friendly. He’s a big lug, but once he gets a little run out he’s as calm as can be! He will need some help with his manners and learning his basic commands, but that’s just the small stuff. Please come meet this goofy boy today!

Lola is a puppy who needs some help with puppy stuff (like obedience and manners, especially around other dogs). She was returned because she wasn’t the right fit for the existing household dog, so she may do best as an only pet, at least while she’s getting those manners we talked about under her belt! She is a snuggler once she warms up to you though, and that makes it allll worth it!

Here’s Mommy doing the zoom-zooms because she LOVES running alongside another dog and she wants everyone to know how happy she is to just be outside enjoying the nice weather! Mommy is a sweet girl, who likes to cuddle and play, she would be an easy keeper for just about any home, but she will need some work on her basic obedience.

Oliver is currently available for adoption through a CCSPCA foster home. His foster family reports that he’s low energy, calm, dog friendly, housebroken, a big love bug and an all around chill dog who could fit in any style of home (including an apartment or a townhouse) because he doesn’t require much exercise and he’s really happy just lounging around on the couch. He’s currently living with children too and wouldn’t mind having some more of those around, but he will need a home without cats!

Ellie is a senior girl who would like nothing more than a couch to hang out on for her golden years. She’s an ambler, which makes her easy to walk on leash, but she’s still got some spunk! She doesn’t want to play with toys all that much, but she’ll chase after you like a puppy! Don’t be off-put by her rear, she’s on meds for a skin issue which should clear up!

Lizzy 1

I know I’ve featured Ms. Lizzy before, but I just can’t believe that this face – THIS FACE keeps getting passed up week after week after week. Lizzy has been in the shelter for 2 months now, which is a long time and it’s getting her down in the dumps. Lizzy is housebroken, knows “sit”, “down”, “come” and “wave”. She loves playing ball will need work on her basic obedience and manners and a slow introduction to other dogs. Please come get my girl!
